Shake the Hand that Feeds You Dinner

Each year, Slow Food Columbus hosts a collaborative dinner that brings together talented chefs, innovators, business owners, farmers and supporters of our interconnected food community. The upcoming Shake the Hand That Feeds You Dinner will be hosted at a local food hub at the Columbus Produce Terminal, the distribution center for Great River Organics (GRO), a farmer-owned cooperative comprised of growers committed to expanding the footprint of local, certified organic products in the Ohio marketplace.

Each ticket includes an expertly prepared, vegetarian-friendly meal, cocktails by Nicolene Shwartz, a silent auction, and the opportunity to hop on the legendary, pedal-powered Snowville ice cream churn. All proceeds will support school garden programs and our local Terra Madre delegate, headed to Italy for the Slow Food Conference in late September.
